HOPPECKE relies on precise sulfur analysis with the inductar® CS cube from Elementar
HOPPECKE Batterien GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Brilon-Hoppecke, is a leading manufacturer of industrial energy storage systems. The company develops and manufactures lead-acid batteries for demanding industrial applications in both mobile and stationary settings. Applications range from data centers and railway systems to energy storage systems for the temporary storage of renewable energy, as well as drive systems in manufacturing and logistics.
At its Brilon-Hoppecke site, HOPPECKE operates not only a battery production facility but also a recycling plant for used batteries and a lead smelter. The chemical laboratory plays a central role in this: it conducts both in-process quality controls and project-specific analyses for research and development. An inductar® CS cube has been installed there since 2021 for the determination of carbon and sulfur; in day-to-day laboratory work, it is used almost exclusively for sulfur analysis.
